Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival

Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival

I’m delighted to be taking part in the Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival when it returns to the town this October with a whole host of exciting events, talks and discussions on literature, publishing and the like.

I’ll be ‘in conversation’ with award-winning local playwright and novelist, Jackie Carreira, (her new novel, The Seventh Train, was released in April 2019) about the highs and lows of independent publishing – sharing our experiences and offering our tips on how to avoid the common pitfalls of the process.

Pauline will be in Waterstones in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 5th August from 10am book signing. Utterly Crushed is the latest (6th) in the Utterly Crime series of novels. The action moves across East Anglia from Stowmarket and Diss to Aldeburgh and Orford Ness; Bury St Edmunds to Grundisburgh and Ipswich. Pauline however will be in Waterstones in Bury St Edmunds book signing!!

Take a look at the cover – the artist / designer Rebecca Moss Guyver has recently won a New English Scholarship awarded annually by the New English Arts Club to two emerging artists with the most promising portfolios. Rebecca is currently exhibiting some of her work in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Guess where I will be on Saturday 6th August 2016

It is not difficult to guess where I will be from 10:30 am.

Waterstones.

My four legged friend holds the answer, although he

is utterly confused because he thinks the

notice reads Water bones.

I am looking forward to book signing my Utterly Crime Novels and the ‘meet the

author’ event, featuring all the novels in my Utterly Crime Series, set in Suffolk.

See you there!

The Felixstowe Book Festival 2016

The Felixstowe Book Festival 2016

This is Alpha Zulu, a Piper Arrow with Attitude….

I am really excited about the Felixstowe Book Festival later this month. I shall be there, alongside fellow authors Rosy Thornton and Mary Powles, and we shall be talking about our novels and how Suffolk has influenced or lent itself to our different genres and writing styles.
Set in Suffolk – (Sunday 26th June at 1:30pm.)

Find out more about us, the festival and ‘Set in Suffolk’.

I hope you can understand why I shall be describing how The Utterly Crime Series has been inspired by, and infused with ‘Suffolk’.
